O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to survey his properties situated in Survey No.335/1B, Kamandhoddi Village by considering his representation dated 16.05.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased 0.12 cents of land in Survey No.335/1 under registered sale deed dated 16.09.2022. Later, the property was sub-divided and new Survey No.335/1B was assigned for an extent of 0.4.85 hectares and patta for the said property was also issued to the petitioner separately. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 16.05.2024 seeking survey of the above said lands and the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court by way of writ petition.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 3 and 4.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that petitioner has not paid necessary charges for surveying the property. Therefore, his representation has not been considered.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2, the petitioner is directed to pay necessary charges for surveying the property and on payment of the charges by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.05.2024 and complete the survey within a period of six weeks from the date of payment of the charges by the petitioner. 3/5
