O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate,( Fast Track Court-IV) George Town, Chennai, to conclude and pass final orders in C.C.No.1229 of 2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.It is seen that this petitioner has launched a prosecution in C.C.No.1229 of 2013 under Section 138 & 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and the same is pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, (Fast Track Court-IV), George Town, Chennai, against one S.Srinivasan.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused has adopted dilatory tactics by not appearing before the Court.

5. Under such circumstances, the trial court is directed to obtain a bond under Section 88 Cr.P.C. for Rs.5,000/- without sureties from the accused, so that, if he absconds, the trial court can direct the registration of FIR against the accused https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under section 229(A) IPC. and the trial Court is further directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.1229/2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order provided there is no legal disability. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
