Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records which culminated in the letter dated 25.06.2017 (instead of 25.06.2018) of the second respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to disburse the educational loan to enable the petitioner to pursue B.E., Computer Science and Engineering in PERI Institute of Technology, Mannivakkam, Chennai, within a period to be specified by this Honourable Court. No representation for the petitioner.

2. Very appreciably the learned counsel for the respondent had produced a statement of accounts from Indian Bank, Pulikarai Branch, Main Road Pulikarai, Dharmapuri District, stating that the educational loan has been sanctioned and the first and second year fees have also been sanctioned.

3. It is seen that a total amount of Rs.2/- lakhs has been sanctioned and a sum of Rs.1,01,061/- has been disbursed for payment towards first and second year fees.

4. This Court places its deep appreciation to the efforts taken by Mrs. S.R.Sumathi, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents in ensuring that the educational loan had been sanctioned to the petitioner.

5. With the above said observation, the Writ Petition is closed.
