[Made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.,] Pursuant to the direction issued by this Court in WP.No.27081 dated 19.09.2024, enforcement action was initiated and after issuing a show cause notice under Section 7 of "the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (Tamil Nadu Act III of 1905)" {hereinafter "1905 Act" for the sake of brevity}, a final notice under Section 6 of 1905 Act was issued.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader, would submit that the encroacher preferred an appeal under Section 10 of 1905 Act before the District Collector. The District Collector, passed an order on 25.06.2025 stating that the said portion of the Government land may be assigned in favour of the encroacher.
3. Challenging the said order passed under Section 10, the petitioner preferred a revision before the Commissioner of Land Administration, which is pending.
