ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Principal Special Judge, Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai - 104 in Dis.No.1582 of 2022 dated 01.04.2022.

2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.18346 of 2021, this Court by an order dated 22.10.2021, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.138 of 2021, within a period of three months. However, the learned Special Judge, Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai - 104 has sent communication dated 01.04.2022 in Dis.No.1582 of 2022, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.138 of 2021 and sought some more time to expedite the trial at the earliest in the said case.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant three months time to complete the trial in C.C.No.138 of 2021 from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
