ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent Police to execute the nonbailable warrant issued against the first respondent by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvotriyur, in C.C.No.3515 of 2018.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the filing of this petition, the accused persons surrendered before the Court below and the non-bailable warrant was recalled. The learned counsel further submitted that the case has been pending from the year 2018 without any progress and hence a direction may be issued to the Court below to dispose of the case within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the subsequent development that has been taken place in this case, there shall be a direction to the Court below to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.3515 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
