This petition has been filed by the proposed parties to implead them as the respondents 19 to 25 in the above writ petition. 2.Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners/impleading respondents, who submitted that in S.No.110/3 of Vallenchery Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, there are 198 families living for the past 30 to 50 years and that, they obtained electricity service connection and have been regularly paying property tax to Maraimalainagar Municipality. Further, they have been provided with all the basic amenities; and that, the Municipality of Maraimalainagar had called for a tender for laying of roads in the survey number, which forms part of the disputed subject matter. Suppressing all these facts, the writ petitioner has preferred WP.No.

30265 of 2018 seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to remove the encroachments in the water bodies situated in various survey numbers including S.No.110/3, and to restore the same to its original position. Thus, according to the learned counsel, the proposed respondents are necessary parties to the proceedings and any order to be passed in the writ petition, without hearing them, would adverse R. av affect their interest and hence, this petition may be ordered by impleading them as party respondents to the writ petition.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, and being satisfied with the same, this petition is ordered as prayed for. 4.Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the writ bundle.
