Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the appeal order dated 16.09.2017 in proceedings No.R.XIII-111/2017-Estt-3 issued by the third respondent and revision order dated 21.06.2018 in proceedings No.R.XIII.1/2018-WS-Adm-I issued by

the second respondent and cancel the punishment of stoppage of two annual increments with cumulative effect and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to release the promotion of the petitioner to the rank of Head Constable (General Duty) by assigning his seniority at appropriate place so as to not affecting his future career.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the appeal order dated 16.09.2017 in proceedings No.R.XIII-111/2017-Estt-3 issued by the third respondent and revision order dated 21.06.2018 in proceedings No.R.XIII.1/2018-WS-Adm-I issued by the second respondent and to cancel the punishment of stoppage of two annual increments with cumulative effect and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to release the promotion of the petitioner to the rank of Head Constable (General Duty) by assigning his seniority at appropriate place so as to not affecting his future career.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

No costs.
