Originally, the petitioner name in the writ petition, i.e., W.P.No.26098 of 2011 is Addisons Paints & Chemicals Ltd., since that has got merged with M/s.Simpson and Co. Ltd., it become necessitated to amend the cause title in the writ petition and the said Addisons Paints & Chemicals Ltd., originally was represented by one Nagarajan, Assistant Secretary, who is also no more. Presently, the petitioner seeks for amendment, therefore, the following amendment has been made in the cause title:

that the petitioner Company shall be called as 'Addisons Paints & Chemicals Ltd., Assistants Association, (Regn.No.MDS/1344), Rep. by its Secretary, No.26, 2nd Street, Jamalia, Perambur, Chennai - 600 012' and the second respondent as 'M/s.Simpson & Co. Ltd., (Addison Paints & Chemicals Division) Huzur Gardens, Sembium, Chennai - 600 011'.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

3. In view of the amalgamation, the amendment is required in the cause title, that is why this petition since has been filed, I am inclined to accept the said reason and accordingly, this petition is ordered.

4. Registry is directed to carryout the necessary amendment and post these matters after two weeks.
