(Order of the Court was made by T.Raja, J.) This civil miscellaneous petition was filed to condone the delay of 58 days in preferring the appeal against the order dated 20.04.2022 in W.P. No. 15333 of 2010 passed by the learned Single Judge.

2. The petitioner was found guilty of the charges levelled against him which has culminated in the order dated 26.02.2007 passed by the 2nd respondent imposing the punishment of stoppage of two increments without cumulative effect and the same was confirmed in the G.O. No. 404, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 10.09.2009 passed by the 1st respondent. The petitioner has filed W.P. No. 15333 of 2010 challenging the said orders and this Court by order dated 20.04.2022 dismissed the writ petition confirming the order of punishment. After the dismissal of the writ petition on 20.04.2022, the petitioner has filed this petition to condone the delay of 58 days in preferring the appeal against the order dated 20.04.2022 in W.P. No. 15333 of 2010 passed by the learned Single Judge.

3. On a perusal of the affidavit filed in support of this petition, there does not appear to be any sufficient reason for the huge delay in filing the same.
