For Petitioner : Mr.N.Manokaran For Respondents : Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, APP COMMON ORDER These matters are placed before this Court today on the basis of the letter dated 04.03.2026 received from the learned Principal District Judge, Namakkal, seeking extension of time for disposal of the miscellaneous petitions in Crl.M.P.Nos.3 & 5 of 2024 in Spl.C.C.No.2 of 2022, which was since transferred to its file from the file of the learned Special Judge/ Chief
Judicial Magistrate, Namakkal and renumbered as Spl.C.C.No.57 of 2026, by a further period of six months.
2. Considering the reasons stated in the aforesaid letter, this Court is of the view that it is appropriate to accept the request made by the learned Principal District Judge, Namakkal.
3. Accordingly, the time for the disposal of the miscellaneous petitions in Crl.M.P.Nos.3 & 5 of 2024 in Spl.C.C.No.2 of 2022 subsequently renumbered as Spl.C.C.No.57 of 2026 after transfer, pending on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Namakkal, is hereby extended by six months from the date of letter of the learned Principal District Judge, Namakkal ie., 04.03.2026 (To be noted, though, vide letter dated 04.03.2026, request has been made only qua Crl.M.P.No.3 of 2024, inasmuch as perusal of the said letter brings to light that Crl.M.P.No.5 of 2024 is also under consideration, time is granted qua Crl.M.P.No.3 of 2024 as well).
