ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The present petition has been filed seeking extension of time of three months for complying the order passed by a Division Bench of this Court dated 23.04.2025 made in W.A.No.3762 of 2024.
2. In fact, the extension petition has been filed with an affidavit dated 28.05.2025, by which, three months' time has been sought. Assuming even that the three months' time has been allowed, that would have been over by August, 2025 itself, but, since we are in March, 2026, till such time, the non-compliance of the order of the Division Bench dated 23.04.2025 cannot be accepted.
3. Anyhow, Mr.T.Arunkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the present petitioners would submit that, only four weeks' time is required from today to comply the order dated 23.04.2025 and within the four weeks' time, compliance would be made and a report to that effect would be filed before this Court, he contended.
4. Recording the said submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, four weeks' time is granted from today to comply the order dated 23.04.2025 and to file a compliance report before this Court. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
5. It is made clear that, within the four weeks' time, if no compliance is made and a report is not filed after four weeks, the inaction on the part of the present petitioners/appellants would be construed as failure in complying the orders of this Court, thereby, contempt proceedings is liable to be initiated against the present petitioners/appellants.
6. With these observations, the petition is ordered. Post the matter after five weeks for filing compliance report. (R.S.K., J.) (N.S., J.) 12.03.2026 Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order Internet:Yes/No Index:Yes/No (drm)
