This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent herein to consider the petitioner representation dated 27.05.2025 and to delete the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in HS.No.24/K5PS/2007.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during 2008, two hurt cases were registered against the petitioner in crime Nos.622 of 2008 and 623 of 2008 and the same were taken on file in C.C.Nos.16129 of 2008 and 16130 of 2008 and both the cases ended in acquittal. However, the petitioner's name is still maintained in the history sheet. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent to delete his name from the history sheet. However, there was no positive response and hence, the present petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that after the petitioner was acquitted in the said cases, no case was pending against the petitioner and hence, the respondent police is not maintaining any history sheet register as against the petitioner.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that as on date no history sheet register is maintained by the respondent police as against the petitioner, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is dismissed.
