O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give police protection for the petitioner to construct residential building in the land at S.No.24/20B at Shanthapuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the representations dated 16.05.2018 and 17.05.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Though the petitioner sought for a direction to grant police protection, during arguments the learned counsel for the petitioer submitted that it would suffice if a direction is given to respondents 3 and 4 not to interfere with petitioner's possession.

4. In view of the interim order passed in favour of the petitioner by the trial Court in I.A.No.491 of 2017 in O.S.No.258 of 2017 and the same is still in force, the respondents 3 and 4 have no right to interfere with the possession of the petitioner in the property, which was subject matter of the suit. However, any law and order problem arise or any cognizable offence is committed in the suit property respondents 3 and 4 have right to proceed as per law. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above observation.
