PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner life, liberty and property for fencing his property situated in Old Survey No.170/6B1, Part, Town Survey No.168, Block-62, WardE of Virudhachalam Town based on the judgment and decree in O.S.No.214 of 2018 dated 02.03.2021 passed by the learned Additional Sub-Judge, Virudhachalam.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner seeks police protection for herself and her property in Survey No 168, Block-62, Ward-E of Virudhachalam Town.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had obtained judgment asserting right in her favour in O.S.No.214 of 2018 on 02.03.2021.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner may be directed to approach the respondent police along with judgment copy. He would further submit that admitted right of property was recently obtained by the petitioner and whether any appeal preferred by rival claimant is not known. Therefore, after verification of the same, appropriate steps would be taken by the respondent police.

4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
