O R D E R

The wife seeks transfer of HMOP No.3290 of 2021, a petition for divorce filed by the husband pending on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore.

2.The transfer is sought for on the ground of convenience of the wife, who is resident of Coimbatore.

3.Mr.P.B.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent is a medical professional working in Chennai. If the proceedings are transferred to Family Court, Coimbatore, he would be forced to appear for every hearing, which would cause much inconvenience to him.

4.I am of the opinion that the proceedings could be transferred to the Sub-Court, Coimbatore, where the appearance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the parties for every hearing is not required and the parties can appear through counsel. This will also mitigate the hardship caused to the parties.

5. Hence, HMOP.No.3290 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file of II Additional Family Court, Chennai and is transferred to the file of the Principal Sub Court, Coimbatore to be disposed of in accordance with law. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
