O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition by way of public interest litigation has been filed on the allegation that closure of the entrance of the office of the Tahsildar situate on the Tahsildar Office road, Perambalur Town, Perambalur District, has put the public to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hardship and inconvenience. It is stated that this entrance is convenient, as the Pillaiyar temple also known as Kutchery Pillaiyar temple, the Perambalur old bus stand and the market are easily accessible through this entrance.

2.It is not in dispute that there is free access to the offices, old bus stand and the temple, but through a longer alternate route. The closure of the shorter road may cause inconvenience. The petitioner and/or other residents and/or visitors cannot have any right to access through any specific road. As observed above, access has not altogether been cutoff. The interference of this Court is not warranted. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
