Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 29.06.2015 forwarded by the second respondent on 17.12.2015 seeking grant of terminal benefits on merits, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 29.06.2015 made by the petitioner, seeking grant of terminal benefits on merits, within a stipulated time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The petitioner states that during his retirement in the year 2015, even though he is entitled for the benefit of 240 days encashment of Earned Leave, the same was omitted to be granted. It is further stated that the petitioner has made a representation dated 29.06.2015 to the first respondent in this regard, and it was also forwarded by the second respondent on 17.12.2015 to the third respondent, but no action has been taken till now. Hence this writ petition.

3.Mr.Balaramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

4.Without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the contentions raised by the writ petitioner in this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
