order passed by this Court in W.P.No.40881 of 2016 dated 22.11.2016, the same was affirmed by the Division Bench in W.A.No.2682 of 2019 and the same was confirmed by the Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) Diary No.(S) 27674 of 2022 dated 26.09.2022 and order in the light of the order in W.P.No.7506 of 2025 dated 28.04.2025 with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023, in respect of notional promotion in the post of Forester on par with his juniors. The case of the petitioner is that, he was appointed as Plot Watcher on 01.10.1979 and absorbed as Forest Watcher on 03.03.2003. The main grievance of the petitioner is that, his juniors were promoted as Foresters. But the respondents failed to grant the consequential benefit of notional promotion to the petitioner for the post of Forester with effect from 18.03.2013. Hence he sent a representation to the respondents dated 07.03.2023, to consider notional promotion for the petitioner and the same is not yet considered.

Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time. 4.
Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5.
In view of the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023, and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
