This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed as to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- by way of Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT to the District Revenue Officer, Pondicherry in Crl.O.P.No.10100 of 2023 dated 04.05.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that at the time of granting bail, the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT before the District Revenue Officer, Pondicherry and on enquiry, it is came to the knowledge of the petitioner that there is no post of District Revenue Officer, Pondicherry and hence, this modification petition.

3. It is seen from the records that the alleged offence had taken place within the territorial limits of respondent/Police at Thiruvannamalai District. Therefore, the condition imposed by this Court is modified by directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT to the District Revenue Officer, Thiruvannamalai District. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. The Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy to the parties.
