ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.257 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner, along with other accused way-laid the de-facto complainant and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this is the first anticipatory bail petition. He further submitted that he did not have any bad antecedents and he is the sole bread winner of his family. Hence, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) strongly opposed the grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the petitioner has three previous cases as against him.

5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials available on record.

6. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), it is seen that the petitioners has got three previous cases which clearly administers that the petitioner is a person who is misusing the liberty and not supporting the justice. Considering the nature and gravity of the allegations

against the petitioner, if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is a possibility of him involving in similar offences. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
