This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police herein not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the de-facto complainant, the respondent-Police sent summons to the petitioner for enquiry. No harassment is made out as against the petitioner. It is the duty of the petitioner to co-operate with the respondent-Police for enquiry/investigation.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to co-operate with respondent-Police for completion of enquiry/investigation as the case may be.
5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
