This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members on a frivolous complaint given by one Sankar, the neighbouring land owner. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that a complaint alleging damage of compound wall of Sankar been received on 24.06.2024 and the same has been enquired.

This Court finds that already civil suit been initiated by this petitioner for injunction. Therefore, the respondent police shall enquire the matter in the manner known to law and shall proceed only if there is any element of criminality found in the complaint given by Sankar. In case, the respondent police is of the opinion that the petitioner has to be enquired, same shall be done only by causing summons for appearance. 4.

With this directions, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/4
