O R D E R
The petition for transfer is filed to withdraw IDOP No.654 of 021 on the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur and transfer the same to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu.
2. The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnised on 29.10.2020 as per the Christian Rites and Rituals. Now the petitioner is residing along with her parents at Chengalpattu. More so, the respondent has filed the petition on IDOP No.654 of 2021 for divorce on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur and therefore, the petitioner is not in a position to contest the case by travelling all along from Chengalpattu to Tiruvallur.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the IDOP No.654 of 2021 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur stands transferred to the file of the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu. The Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur is directed to transmit the case papers to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as expeditiously as possible.
4. With the abovesaid directions, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 07.12.2022 Skr/Jeni Index : Yes Speaking order To
