This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of the Scheduled Caste and Schedules Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act cases, Namakkal District to consider the bail petition on the same day of their surrender in Cr.No.184 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police pending investigation.

2. In view of Section 15A of the SC & ST Act, the prayer in this petition cannot be acceded and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to consider the bail petition without any violations of the provisions of the Act. 10.07.2024 Vv To 2/4
