This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to sponsor the name of the petitioner for the recruitment to the post of Overseer, as per his seniority in the registration of the names in the District Employment Office, Cuddalore, in respect of the recruitment that were being made by the Government in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, based on the notification issued on 12.6.2011.

3. Since, the said recruitment based on the notification, dated 12.6.2011, had already been completed, as per the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is of the considered view that the relief prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition,cannot be granted,at this stage.Hence,the writ petition stands dismissed.No costs.Connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
