ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 14.03.2025, 17.04.2025 and 26.04.2025 and absorb them as regular Guest Lecturer based on the G.O.Ms.No.88 dated 22.05.2025, in the Government Arts and Science Colleges with the salary fixed by the Government. The case of the petitioners is that they were appointed as Guest Lecturers by Parent Teachers Association and receiving monthly salary to a sum of Rs.7,000/- per month. Now, the Government has created the post of Guest Lecturer on consolidated pay by virtue of G.O.Ms.No.269 dated 25.11.2022, with a monthly salary of Rs.20,000/-. Hence the petitioners have sent representation to absorb them as Guest Lecturer in pursuance to G.O.Ms.No.269 dated 25.11.2022, so that they may able to get enhanced payment of Rs.20,000/- per month and such representation is pending before the respondents. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 4.
Learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioners who were appointed through Parent Teachers Association cannot be considered under the present G.O.

However, the fact remains that the petitioners representations were kept pending by the Authority concerned. 6.
In such view of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 14.03.2025, 17.04.2025 and 26.04.2025, and pass order according to it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
