Petition seeking interim parole to the detenu Sundharam, Son of Theepanchi who is lodged at Central Prison, Salem to perform the last rituals to his father Late. Theepanchi, who died on 28.11.2020 for the period of one week from 03.12.2020 pending disposal of the above Habeas Corpus Petition.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M. SUNDRESH,J.) This petition has been filed by the wife of the convict seeking interim parole for a period of one week from 03.12.2020 to perform last rites of his father, who expired on 28.11.2020.

Inasmuch as the death of the father of the convict is not in 2\4

dispute and also the ceremony is scheduled to be held on 03.12.2020, we are inclined to grant 3 days leave to the convict from 03.12.2020 without escort. The convict shall be released from the prison on 03.12.2020 at 10a.m. and he shall return back to the prison on 05.12.2020 at 5p.m. The Crl.M.P. is disposed of accordingly.
