2. Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel for the petitioners/appellants and Mr.K.Myilsamy, learned counsel for the sole respondent.

3. Considering the reasons that have been set out for the delay and finding the same to be sufficient cause, this petition is allowed and the delay of 401 days in filing the above appeal in A.S.Sr.No.85982 of 2023 is condoned.

4. The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
