The petitioner is the husband. He filed a petition for divorce against the respondent. During pendency of the divorce petition, the respondent / wife filed a maintenance case against the petitioner / husband before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore. During pendency of the maintenance petition, petitioner / husband filed the above civil revision petition for early disposal of the divorce petition.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore, to dispose of M.C.No.07 of 2018 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, proceed with H.M.O.P.NO.877 of 2018 filed by the petitioner / husband pending on the file Family Court, Chennai.

3. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the observation and direction. No costs.
