ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to reconsider his order made in Na.Ka.No.39413/U1/2008 dated 26.05.2021, considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2025 for grant of patta in respect of the lands measuring an extent of 75 acres in S.Nos.72, 74/1, 75/1, 76/1, 77/1, 78/1, 79/2, 80/1, 81/1, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 95, 96, 97 and 99/2 situated at Kodiyakarai Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/6
3.After submitting for a brief while, learned counsel for the petitioner sought leave of this Court to file an appeal against the proceedings dated 26.05.2021, on the premise that soon after the above order was received, petitioner has made several representations. However, the same were not considered by the respondents till date. 4.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner vide proceedings dated 30.05.2025, petitioner was directed to prefer an appeal and the said communication was served on the petitioner at a later date. Hence, liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file an appeal. 5.At the outset, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner may file appeal before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6.It is open to the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of this order. The Commissioner of Land Administration shall entertain the same without reference to limitation, if it is otherwise in order.

7.Recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
