Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include the petitioners in the selection process conducted for the post of Overseer/ Junior Draughting officer in pursuant to the notification issued by the 2nd respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa A2/670/2020 dated 07.11.2020 without reference to the maximum age limit of 35 years prescribed in clause 4 of the said notification.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioners in the selection process conducted for the post of Overseer/Junior Draughting Officer in pursuant to the notification issued by the second respondent dated 07.11.2020.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is seen that the petitioner is already barred by age, since the petitioner has crossed the age limit of 35 years. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner to relax the maximum age limit cannot be considered.
4. In view of the above, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands 2/4
dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
