ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a fresh public auction for grant of fishing rights in the PalameduPeriyaEri alias PudhiyaEri and KottapalayamEri, within the control of the Mallasamudram Panchayat Union, Mallasamudram, Namakkal District, by considering and passing necessary orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2024.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 26.06.2024 to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a fresh public auction for grant of fishing rights in the PalameduPeriyaEri alias PudhiyaEri and KottapalayamEri, within the control of the Mallasamudram Panchayat Union, Mallasamudram, Namakkal District. But the same has not been considered no far.

3. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2024 will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a period of four weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 to 7 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
