This Contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order dated 09.07.2019 made in WP No.19769 of 2019.

Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 26.10.2021, the matter was taken up for hearing today. The learned Government Advocate Criminal Side appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that an FIR has been registered against 6 accused persons (3 named accused persons) in Crime No. 1285 of 2021 on 07.11.2021 for an offence under section 147, 148,448, 294(b) and 506(2) of IPC. The learned counsel submitted that the investigation is going on and now that the Criminal Action has been initiated, the Police will ensure that the accused persons will not take law into their own hands.
