This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to give adequate protection to the petitioner and his family members for fencing his land.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he had purchased a property vide document bearing no.842 of 2017 dated 28.02.2017 and that when he wanted to fence the property, one Savithri and her henchmen prevented him. Therefore, it is the case of the petitioner that he sent a representation dated 15.05.2018 by post to the police and has thereafter, filed the present application for police protection for fencing the property even without impleading Savithri.

3. In the opinion of this Court, the question of title and possession cannot be decided by this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. The remedy available to the petitioner is before the civil Court. However, if there is any violence perpetrated by Savithri, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the local police and lodge a complaint.
