Respondent Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner in any of the post included in CSSE-I 2011 to 2013.

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to consider the writ petitioner in any post included in CSSE-I 2011 to 2013.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted an order passed by the Under Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in letter No.7662/LCD/D1/2013, dated 16.6.2014, which is extracted as under:

"I am directed to invite attention to the reference cited and to enclose herewith the copy of Commission letter No.1780/OTDA2/2011, dated 01.04.2014 addressed to the Commissioner of Revenue Administration Department, Chepauk, Chennai-600 005.

2. It is submitted that Tmt.K.Devaki has filed in W.P.No.33851 of 2013 before the Madras High Court, praying to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner in any of the post included in CSSE-I.

3. It is further submitted that, the withheld result of the petitioner for the post of Assistant in CRA has been released and the petitioner name has been sent to the concerned HOD.

4. The abovesaid facts may be apprised before the Hon'ble Court in order to dismiss the case as infructuous."

3. In view of the above order passed by the respondent, no further adjudication is required on merits in this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
