Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to sanction minimum pension with arrears payable to the petitioner from 30.06.2009 in the category of Village Administration Officer, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.148, Revenue (Service - 8 (2)) Department, dated 20.04.2011 by considering the representation dated 10.09.2020 and give all consequential benefits, with arrears of pension within a time to be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to sanction minimum pension with arrears payable to the petitioner from 30.06.2009 in the category of Village Administration Officer, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.148, Revenue (Service - 8 (2)) Department, dated 20.04.2011 by considering the representation dated 10.09.2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents that due enquiry has been conducted and the papers have been forwarded to the 1st respondent enable him to take a decision.

3. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the 1st respondent shall take into account of G.O.Ms.No.148, Revenue (Service - 8 (2)) Department, dated 20.04.2011 as the same is applicable to the case of the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2020 and shall take a decision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
