The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to issue Writ of certiorarified mandamus or any order or direction in the nature of writ calling for the records of impugned order of the second respondent Uu.1-1772/2007 dated 18.06.2007 and quash the same and direct the second respondent to extend the pension benefits to the petitioner.

2. On going through the records, it could be seen that on 18.08.2014 the petitioner was given time to take steps and that day onwards there was no representation for the petitioner. Even though the matter was listed under caption 'for dismissal' on 25.08.2014, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. was no representation. Therefore, the registry was directed to list the matter today under caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, none appears on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
