Ms.S.Sumathi, Administrator General & Official Trustee of TamilNadu Order The Official Trustee was appointed as sole trustee of the trust known as "Madras Tamil Mission". The administration of the trust is governed by a scheme decree dated 06.02.1956 made in C.S.No.281 of 1953. The object of the trust is to look after orphan children of every class especially Indian Christian and Adi Dravidar, to offer elementary education to every children to

preach the word of God, to train young man for educational and evangelistic work and to carry evangelistic and christian social work. As per the Scheme, a board of four members has to be constituted to carry out the objectives of the Trust and the members of the Board to be appointed by the Court and they have to hold office for a period of five years.

2. In the present case, the term expired. Thus, the present application has been filed. The Official Trustee seeks the permission of this Court to make paper publication in one English and one Tamil Newspaper calling for applications from eligible persons doing evangelistic work for appointment as board member of Madras Tamil Mission Trust for a period of five years.

3. In view of the said position, permission is granted to the Official Trustee to make paper publication in one English daily and one Tamil newspaper by following the procedures as contemplated. The application stands allowed. 12-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KST
