ORDER
1. This petition is filed to extend the time by three months to comply with the conditional order, dated 22.04.2026, made in Crl.MP.No.7253 and 7254 of 2026, in Crl.RC.No.920 of 2026.
2. This Court heard Mr.A.Jagadeshwara, the learned counsel for the Petitioner.
3. This Court, by order dated, 22.04.2026, in Crl.MP.No.7253 and 7254 of 2026, in Crl.RC.No.920 of 2026, had granted suspension of sentence and the bail to the Petitioner, with the following conditions:- "(i) The petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail, on condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the cheque amount to the
credit of CC.No.1494 of 2017 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai, on or before 20.05.2026.
(ii) On such deposit being made, the Trial Court shall redeposit the said amount in a Fixed Deposit Account, in any one of the Nationalized Banks, renewable thereafter periodically. The disbursal of this amount shall be decided at the culmination of the Criminal Revision Case.
(iii) Thereafter, the sentence of imprisonment alone imposed on the petitioner/accused shall be suspended, on them executing a bond a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. CRL MP No. 7253 of 2026 (iv) The petitioner and the sureties shall affix their photographs and Left Thumb Impression in the surety bond and the trial Court may obtain a copy of their Aadhar card or Bank pass Book and mobile numbers to ensure their identity;
(v) The petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court on the first working day of a month at 10.30 a.m., until the disposal of the revision and if they are not able to appear before the Trial Court on that day, they shall make arrangements to file an application under Section 317 Cr.P.C., and shall appear before the Trial Court on any other day in lieu of the date of their absence as directed by the Trial Court.
(vi) On the failure of the petitioner/accused, depositing the above said amount, it is open to the Trial Court to commit the petitioner/accused into custody for undergoing the sentence.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner was unable to comply with the order of this Court, dated 22.04.2026, made in Crl.MP.No.7253 and 7254 of 2026, in Crl.RC.No.920 of 2026 within the stipulated period i.e. on or before 20.05.206, since he was not able to mobilize funds to deposit the sum of Rs.7,00,000/- being 50% of the cheque amount of Rs.14,00,000/- due to financial distress and that the non-
compliance of the conditions to deposit the money within the specified time is neither willful nor deliberate, but solely due to financial constraint and that the Petitioner is always ready and willing to comply with the directions of this Court and that unless extension of time is granted, he will be subjected to severe hardship and irreparable loss.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court, as a last opportunity, grant two weeks time and no further time to the learned counsel for the Petitioner to make compliance of the order dated, 22.04.2026 and to deposit the sum of Rs.7,00,000/- being 50% of the cheque amount of Rs.14,00,000/- to the credit of CC.No.1494 of 2017, on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC II, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai. The learned counsel for the Petitioner shall produce the deposit receipt before this Court on the next date fixed.
6. In case of failure on the part of the Petitioner to make compliance of the order, dated 22.04.2026, within time, as directed above, the Trial Court shall proceed against the Petitioner, in accordance with law and in the light of the paragraph 5(iv) of the said order, dated 22.04.2026.
7. Put up this case on 03.07.2026 before the appropriate Bench, for reporting compliance.
