This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.2 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same. For Petitioner :

ORDER

Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police has filed a Status Report dated 11.09.2023 before this Court, wherein, it is stated that after the completion of investigation in Crime No.2 of 2018, final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Katpadi and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.223 of 2023 on 22.08.2023 and now, the case has been posted to 20.09.2023 for appearance of the accused.

2. In view of the Status Report filed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police, this criminal original petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the final report filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 11.09.2023 mrr Index: Yes/No 2/4
