ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records in C.P.No.300/2008 in order dated 16.7.2009 on the file the II Additional Labour Court, Chennai and to quash the same.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. Pursuant to the Order passed in C.P.No.300 of 2008 on the file of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

II Additioinal Labour Court, Chennai, the second respondent/employee has filed an Execution Petition in E.P.No.58 of 2009 and the employee had filed a Memo before the Labour Court on 19.6.2014 for withdrawing the execution petition.

The learned counsel for the respondent submits that since the second respondent had filed a Memo before the Labour Court for withdrawing the Execution Petition, the writ petition can be dismissed as infructuous.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
