ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to conduct further investigation in Crime No.11 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police based on the complaint dated 21.05.2025 given by the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police against one Riyaz with several allegations, however the respondent police has registered the case only for the offences under Sections 69, 115(2), 333, 351(3) of BNS Act and that the respondent police has not included the relevant sections of offences as per the complaint given by the petitioner. Hence, the present petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is pending.
4. Heard and perused the materials available on record.
5. It is seen from the records that the complaint in Crime No.11 of 2025 2/5
has been registered by the respondent police only 21.05.2025 for the occurrence happened between 01.12.2023 to 20.05.2025. Now the investigation is pending and charge sheet has not been filed. Therefore, this petition is not maintainable.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
7. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the charge sheet within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. After the filing of the charge sheet, if the petitioner is still aggrieved, she can work out her remedy in the manner known to law. 01.07.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No ksa-2 3/5
