ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 5 or their subordinates or men or agents from seizing and detaining the vehicles of the petitioner when plying in Tamil Nadu.

2. The writ petition was filed in the year 2004. At the time of filing of the writ petition, the petitioner's vehicles were seized and detained by the respondents and thereafter released on account of which, the petitioner suffered huge revenue loss.

3. Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become redundant and hence, the petitioner may be given liberty to approach this court as and when necessity arises.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents have no objection for giving such liberty.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach this court as and when necessity arises.
