The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondents to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 02.01.2016. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent on 02.01.2016. But the respondents have not taken any steps to enquire the matter and register a case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the petitioner's complaint dated 02.01.2016, the respondents conducted enquiry and at that time, the petitioner stated that he wants to settle the matter with the proposed accused. He would further submit that recording the submission made by the petitioner, the complaint lodged by him was closed.
