PRAYER:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from assigning any portion or entire extent of the land comprised in S.No.272/5(Ext. 8.65 Acer) 286/88 (26.90 Acers), 288/1 & 2 (13.13 Acres) and 295/3 (17.86 Acer) in total extent of Acres 66.54 cents of Morai Village Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallore District to any other third parties without considering the petitioners claim pursuant to the order of this Court made in W.P.No.578/2010 dated 20.01.2011. ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition for issuance of writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents from assigning any portion or entire extent of the land comprised in S.No.272/5 (Ext. 8.65 Acer) 286/88 (26.90 Acers), 288/1 & 2 (13.13 Acres) and 295/3 (17.86 Acer) in total extent of Acres 66.54 cents of Morai Village Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallore District to any other third parties without considering the petitioners claim pursuant to the order of this Court made in W.P.No.578/2010 dated 20.01.2011.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused materials on record.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, since the third respondent had already rejected the representation of the petitioner.

4. In light of the above submission, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is required in this case. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
