O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to revise petitioner's wages with effect 01.09.2019 based on the 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 and pay him the difference in leave salary and gratuity along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement.

2. The case of the petitioner is that, he joined the 1st respondent Transport Corporation as Tradesman and retired from service on 29.02.2020. The petitioner made a representation to the respondents dated 16.04.2025, to pay the difference in leave salary and gratuity along with 12% interest as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022. The said representation is pending on the file of the respondents. Hence the present writ petition is filed.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2/5

respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
