O R D E R
The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to dispose of the application dated 06.05.2023 made by the petitioner seeking appointment of her daughter, viz., S. Shalini, as Bill Clerk on compassionate grounds.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner's husband, viz., P.K. Swamy, had joined as a seasonal bill clerk in the Tamil Nadu Civil Supply Corporation. Subsequently, he was promoted to Junior Quality Inspector. While he was in service, he died on 07.10.2022, leaving behind the petitioner, his mother, and two children. Immediately, the petitioner submitted the said application dated 06.05.2023, along with the required documents, seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. However, it has not been considered so far. 2/4

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the application dated 06.05.2023 made by the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate grounds, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
