For Petitioner : Mr.Sankar Ramasamy For Respondents : Mr.V.Anandhamurthy Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner in W.P.No.18470 of 2020 and W.P.No.18472 of 2020 on 07.08.2018 and 29.07.2019 respectively, wherein, the petitioners have sought for the compensation for the property that was acquired from the petitioner. 2.Mr.V.
Anandhamurthy, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representations given by the petitioners are being duly considered and the process involves acquisition of some other patta lands also and therefore, sufficient time can be granted by this Court in order to consider the representations made by the petitioners and to pay the compensation to the petitioners.
3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the specific stand that has been taken by the respondents, there shall be a direction to the 6th respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner in W.P.No.18470 of 2020 and W.P.No.18472 of 2020 on 07.08.2018 and 29.07.2019 respectively, strictly in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders for payment of compensation to the petitioners for the land acquired from them, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
