2. The Chairman, State Recruitment Bureau, 170, Periyar E.V.R.Highway, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010.

... Respondents in both W.P's.

Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to admit the petitioners for interview to the post of Assistant / Junior Assistant in Apex Co-operative Institutions vide Advertisement No.01-2019 dated 11.01.2020 which was notified by 2nd respondent.

For Petitioner ... Mr.Saravanan.P (in both petitions) For Respondents ... Mr.T.Chezhiyan (in both petitions) Additional Government Pleader for R1 & R2 COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions are filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to admit the petitioners for interview to the post of Assistant / Junior Assistant in Apex Co-operative Institutions vide Advertisement No.01-2019 dated 11.01.2020 which was notified by 2nd respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners belong to Hindu-Arunthathiyar (SC) Community and they have completed Diploma in Co-operation during May, 2001; thereafter they have completed Bachelor of Literature in Tamil during the year 2013; on an advertisement of the second respondent vide Advertisement No.1-2019, dated 11.01.2020 calling for the post of Assistant / Junior Assistant in Apex Co-operative Institutions, the petitioner's applied for the same and

attended the examination on 01.03.2020; the second respondent published the results on 16.10.2010 and mentioned that the interview will be held on 09.11.2020 and individual intimation regarding the venue, date and time would be sent to the individual through e-mail; the contention of the petitioners is that they neither received SMS nor e-mail from the second respondent; when they approached the second respondent on 20.11.2020 to permit them to attend for interview and certificate verification, the same was denied by the second respondent; hence the petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking to direct the second respondent to admit the petitioner for interview to the post of Assistant / Junior Assistant.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the selection process itself is over and the petitioner cannot be subjected to the selection process for the year-2019.

4. The petitioners cannot be now subjected for the selection process pertaining to the 2019 recruitment. The petitioners should have approached the Court much earlier for the prayer sought by them. The petitioners can

only try their luck during the next selection process.

6. In view of the reasons stated above, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
